About Us

ViPS photography was created in 1997 by Paul Eddom, when he became a full time photographer in York. He soon joined the MPA, Master Photographers Association, and BIPP, The British Institute of Professional Photographers and shortly afterwards qualified, earning the title, master photographer with a successful panel of images.

Encouraged by his peers and professional photo lab, Paul entered the MPA photographic competition in 2010. He has since won several regional and national awards from the MPA an recently the BIPP.  Including: pets, contemporary portraits, maternity, under 5’s, commercial, architectural, PR, events, architectural, travel & tourism and industrial.

As part of the Click Capture group of photographers we are proud to  provide great family, individual and group portraits as well as makeover photographic sessions and pet portraits. Our portraits have won numerous competition awards and adorn walls all over Yorkshire and beyond. Capow Superhero and Enchanted fairy sessions are also our specialities.

Originally photographing weddings and school photos Paul then progressed into commercial and industrial photography, finally changing again over several years to a become a studio based and location photographer working from our spacious studio in york.
